Erick "E-Dog" Lindgren
Erick was born in Burney, California. He was a talented high school athlete, exceling in football and basketball. Once he was no longer able to continue his athletic career, he needed to find an outlet for his competitive nature so he started playing poker. Before he found poker, he was a professional blackjack dealer at a casino near his junior college. He gradually attended class less and played poker more, until decided to go pro. Erick currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lindgren is a successful tournament and high stakes cash game player. He plays in many high stakes games in Las Vegas, and has been featured on the Game Show Network's High Stakes Poker.
Erick has had the most tournament success on the World Poker Tour. He has 3 WPT titles, and was the 1st player to be named WPT Player of the Year. Lindgren has not won a WSOP gold bracelet yet. His best finish at the WSOP was 2nd in 2006 at a Short-Handed No Limit Hold'em event. Recently, Lindgren won a 2007 Crown Aussie Millions event, taking home $759,340.
Outside the poker room, Lindgren wrote a poker strategy book, "World Poker Tour: Making the Final Table". He is good friends with fellow pros Daniel Negreanu and Gavin Smith.
