Professional Poker Players

Scott Fischman

Scott Fischman was born in 1981 in Pennsylvania. At the young age of 12 he moved to Las Vegas and began to play poker. He enjoyed the scott fischmangame from the beginning, and became a poker dealer at the Mirage and Sahara when he turned 21. Fischman is the most successful member of a group of young professional poker players, known as "The Crew".

In 2004, Fischman became the youngest player ever to win two World Series of Poker bracelets. That same year, he won the World Poker Tour's "Young Guns of Poker" event. These victories launched his professional poker career, and he hasn't looked back since. In 2005 nearly won his third WSOP bracelet, finishing 2nd to Allen Cunningham in a $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event. Since then, he has made over 25 final tables in various tournaments including WPT and WSOP events.

Scott has had some great runs at the World Series of Poker, as well as great moments. He is known for two moments at the WSOP in particular. After winning a World Series of Poker bracelet, he threw himself on the poker table, kissing the money he had just won. In the 2004 Main Event, he was knocked out by Doyle Brunson. During an interview while leaving the poker room, he went on to say "Doyle busted my ass!"

Fischman is also an avid online poker player. He plays at multiple different online cardrooms under the screen name "emptyseat88".

Outside of the poker room, Fischman is a writer for CardPlayer magazine, and is a spokesman for the poker clothing line "I'm All In Wear".
