Ted Forrest was born in 1964 in New York. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ted is known as one of the best Stud players in the world.
Throughout his poker career, Forrest has switched back and forth between focusing on high stakes cash games and tournaments. In 1993, forrest won 3 WSOP gold bracelets, a feat only accomplished by two other professional poker players. Later on in the 90's he would focus more on high stakes cash games. It took until 2004 for Ted to begin tournament play again, as he won two more WSOP events and ran up his total to 5 career WSOP gold bracelets.
For many years Forrest has been won of the most successful high stakes cash game players. He has won and lost over $1 million in one poker session many times over, although most of the time he is on the winning end of it.
Forrest seems to be a true gambler at heart. He is known for wagering millions at the craps tables. He is also an avid proposition bettor, and will bet on just about anything. Some examples of this are bets about running a marathon to Vegas on a 110+ degree day and whether or not he could do a backflip for a $10,000 Main Event buy-in.
